DERMAL FILLERS

Dermal Fillers are administered by injection to reduce the appearance of hollows beneath the eyes, vertical lip lines, nasolabial lines (between the nose and corners of the mouth) and marionette lines (lines going from the corners of the mouth down towards the chin). Dermal fillers are also used to fill out thin lips to make them look more voluptuous. Some fillers are suitable to add volume to the face if cheeks are sunken or hollow, and they can also be used to reduce the appearance of any acne scarring in this area. Some experienced practitioners can also use dermal fillers to alter the shape of the tip of the nose.

Dermal fillers can be used in conjunction with botulinum toxin to enhance the cosmetic effect in patients with deeper lines around the eyes and forehead… Click here for more information.
